Berkley FinSecure Hires Pete Verretto as Northwest Territory Director

 

Towson, MD – July 16, 2015 – Berkley FinSecure, a W. R. Berkley Company®, announced today that Peter D. Verretto has joined the company as Northwest territory director. In his new role, Mr. Verretto will focus on underwriting and sales to financial institutions through the company’s network of agents and brokers in the newly expanded Northwest territory. Working out of the company’s Seattle office, Mr. Verretto will be responsible for Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska.

Mr. Verretto has 23 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Berkley FinSecure, he served for 8 years as the Northwest region account executive officer for financial institution bond and specialty insurance at a major insurer, following nearly 15 years in various account underwriting, marketing and claims roles at the same company. He also serves on the board of a number of non-profit charities in the Northwest and coaches both basketball and baseball. Mr. Verretto graduated with a B.A. degree in English from the University of Washington.
